Abstract

Sidelobe suppression and peak to average power ratio (PAPR) reduction are two main problems in NC-OFDM systems. The conventional research treat these two problems as two independent problems and our research focus on the general performance improvement in terms of the two problems. In this paper, the interactive impacts of these two issues are analyzed based on two joint processing models. Furthermore, the general performance of two models are all studied and compared through both theoretical analysis and numeric simulation, which shows that the joint processing models achieve general improvement on sidelobe suppression and PAPR reduction.
