Abstract
The rapid development of social economy led to the rapid growth of social electricity consumption. How to manage and promote the development of electric power industry has been an issue which aroused wide concerns. Based on the understanding of the current situation of electric power, the research is made on how the information management technology in digital communication plays a crucial role in the development of electric power; meanwhile, the information management system of electric power is also designed. Through the data analysis, it is proved that the information management technology in the digital communication is in line with the actual needs, enhancing the efficiency of the work, promoting the development of electric power and improving the level of management, which is of remarkable significance.
