Abstract

This paper presents the three key factors which inherently enable sustainable cost effective broadband fixed wireless access network infrastructure. These are integrated new technology with existing infrastructure, effective regulatory framework and local community deployment. A new approach for lowering the cost of broadband wireless access network is reviewed and the relationship of key factors is discussed. Then, it follows by insight into the assessment of cost effective networks. Finally, the paper overviews supporting policy and business model to reduce associated costs of broadband fixed wireless access networks
