Abstract
Narrow band measurements at 930.2 MHz are carried out in two kinds of viaduct scenarios on the Zhengzhou-Xi’an high-speed railway at the speed of 300 km/h. The first-order and second-order statistics of the measured data, such as level crossing rate (LCR) and average fade duration (AFD), are compared with theoretical values of Rayleigh, Rice and Nakagami models. An emulation system is set up in the State Key Lab of Rail Traffic Control and Safety using a Propsim C8Radio Channel Emulator. Two new models based on WINNER II D2a channel model are proposed for viaduct scenarios according to the emulation results.
