Abstract

Next generation networks consider context information to deliver personalized services, where this context can include positioning information. On the other side, positioning information is relevant to some of the network main functions: geographical routing, network coverage, enhanced security, power saving etc. Therefore determining the position of nodes in wireless networks is pivotal and this paper proposes a cooperative iterative framework to expand the overall localization coverage in an ad hoc wireless network.
