Abstract

Real-time pricing’s total cost minimization problem is studied in this paper at a neighborhood area network level in smart grid. We propose a mathematical energy scheduling model for real-time pricing demand response, and based on which, a distributed energy consumption scheduling algorithm for total cost minimization is proposed.
